Here is the New York Times obituary for my swimming friend Murray Rose from Australia. We met on the pool deck at the Olympic Village at the 2009 World Masters Games in Sydney and had dinner later. We have been corresponding couple times a month since and he invited me last year to swim with his Australian Friends across Istanbul’s Straits ( Just a couple of miles )
